There was an amazing living world on top of the outcrop. The holes are called Gnamma (indig. for rock hole) and they supported a home for shrimp, frogs and these amazing flowers that grew in the moss. If you look beyond the rock to the left you will see a fairway of a golf course that the reservoir waters. You would love it Nick. The greens are some kind of dark grey ground rock.
