We had intended staying at the camp ground in Hermannsburg but when we saw it locked behind a ten foot high fence complete with barbed wire we decided to head into Alice.

The score card on repairs is:-
1. Putting back together the griller and top of the stove.
2. Rescrewing the leg of the table to the floor.
3. Repairing a dry joint in the computer so the blogger is happy.

A young man is coming tomorrow to hopefully replace the back leg that we lost off the van.

Not bad really as there are other much newer vans here that have just come off the same road and they all lost something - legs, brakes and tyres, water tank cap and water .
